Levelling compounds are used to prepare your subfloor prior to tiling. For example, it is recommend to pour a layer of levelling compound over electric underfloor heating mats, to provide a smooth base for tiling and protect the heating wires.
LevelFlex Fibre is a rapid setting, flexible leveller that can be applied at greater depths in one application than alternatives. Tiling can usually commence after just 2.5 hours.
LevelFlex Fibre can be used on a variety of substrates, including sand and cement screeds, concrete, timber, existing tiles and electric underfloor heating systems.
✔ Apply from 2 to 50mm in one application
✔ Rapid setting - can be tiled on after 3 hours
✔ Suitable as a wearing surface
✔ Suitable for use over underfloor heating
All substrates must be clean, dry and sound before any application. Use LTP Grimex to clean existing tiles, if required. Always prime your substrates using Prime Plus.
Add 4.5 - 5.0 litres of clean water to a bucket and slowly add all the powder, whilst mixing with an electric paddle. Mix until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved. Do not use too much water as this may weaken the mix.
Pour the compound over your surface and using a trowel, smooth to the required depth. A spiked roller can be used if required, to help smooth the compound and remove any air bubbles. It is important to apply the levelling compound without delay, due to the quick setting properties.
20kg will cover 4.5 m2 at 3 mm thickness.
We offer free kerbside delivery on most orders over £500 – quick, convenient and you can even choose a delivery day that suits you – up to three months in advance.
If your order is under £500, delivery is £15 for lighter parcel orders (under 18kg) and £36 for heavier pallet orders.
Most orders arrive in just two working days, and if you order before 11pm, we’ll get everything moving right away.
A few remote areas, like the Scottish Highlands or Channel Islands, may have extra charges – but we’ll always let you know before you check out.
