Made from Spanish porcelain, it has a smooth, slightly satin finish that looks softly luminous. It catches the light gently, looks refined at any time of day, and feels lovely underfoot.

Rectified tiles have perfectly straight edges and are all exactly the same size. That means they can sit really close together with thin grout lines, for a clean, modern look. Non-rectified tiles have slightly softer edges, so they need a little more space between them, which gives a more traditional, handmade feel.

PEI shows how well a glazed tile stands up to foot traffic, on a scale of 0 to 5. 0 is for walls only, 1 and 2 suit lighter-use floors like bathrooms, and 3 works in every room at home. 4 and 5 are even tougher, so they’re great at home and in busy commercial spaces too.

The R rating shows how much grip a tile has underfoot. The higher the number, the better the grip: R9 suits indoor floors like kitchens and hallways, and R11 is ideal outdoors. Read our anti-slip guide

Most of our tiles are ceramic or porcelain, and these don’t need sealing. A few, like natural stone and tiles with a crackle glaze, should be sealed when they’re fitted to protect the surface. If this tile needs sealing, you’ll see “Yes” here.

The space we recommend leaving between each tile, which is then filled with grout. A thin joint gives a clean, modern look, while a wider one suits a more traditional, handmade style.

How much the colour and pattern change from tile to tile. Uniform (V1) tiles all match. Moderate (V3) and Substantial (V4) tiles are deliberately varied for a natural or handmade look. We recommend mixing tiles from several boxes as you lay.

The number of different printed patterns in the range. More faces means fewer repeats, so the finished wall or floor looks more natural.

Where can I use these tiles?

How many boxes do I need?

Enter your tiling area in m² above and we'll work out the boxes for you. Tiles are sold in full boxes, so we always round up to the nearest whole box.

We suggest ticking Add 10% for cuts. Tiles need cutting around edges, corners and pipes, and a few can break, so it saves you running short.

Can I see a sample first?

Yes. Just click the free sample button on any tile you like and you can order up to 4 at once. Delivery is just £1.99 and your samples arrive within 2 working days.

For selected tiles you can also order a larger sample for £2.50 each. If it's available, you'll see a large sample button on the product page.

How much is delivery?

Free over £500 to most of mainland UK. Under £500 it's £49.95, and Next Day delivery is £69.95.

Smaller orders, like grout, accessories or a light box of tiles, go by DPD and cost less. Your exact delivery cost is always shown at checkout, before you pay. Full details are on our delivery page.

How soon can I have my tiles?

As soon as tomorrow. Order before 11am Monday to Friday and choose Express Delivery at checkout, and your tiles can arrive the next working day. Not in a rush? Standard delivery takes from 3 working days. Either way, you pick the delivery day that suits you.

Remote postcodes may differ. See our delivery page for details.

How will my tiles be delivered?

Most of our orders are delivered on a pallet, kerbside. This means your driver leaves the pallet at the kerb. They can't open it or carry boxes inside, and boxes can be heavy, so please have someone ready to help. Delivery is on the day you choose, between 8am and 6pm. Please make sure an adult is there to check and sign for it.

If anything is damaged, note it on the delivery note, take photos and complete our Damages Form within 24 hours of delivery, so we can send free replacements.

What else do I need to fit them?

To fit your tiles you'll need adhesive, grout and silicone, plus spacers (or levelling clips for larger tiles). Depending on your job you may also need tile backer boards. Not sure how much? When you add your tiles to the basket, we'll recommend the right adhesive and grout for your quantities.

Can I return my tiles?

Yes. You have 100 days to return your full order, and we'll refund you once it's been received and checked.

The tiles need to be unused and in their original packaging, and we can only take back full orders, not part orders or leftover boxes. Just so you know, you'll need to arrange and pay for delivery back to us.
