This cementitious slurry primer is designed to provide an exceptional bond between your tiles and the bedding mortar underneath. It can be used with many materials, including 20mm porcelain, natural stone and concrete pavers.
It is suitable for commercial applications including pedestrians schemes, paths and drive/carriageways. It can take the weight of vehicles, depending on the tile.

This priming slurry should be applied both to the sub-base, before the mortar course is laid, and the underside of the tiles. Before application, ensure the tiles are cleaned to remove dust and loose material.
Pour 7 litres of clean water into a bucket and slowly add all the primer powder. Mix for up to five minutes until a smooth and lump-free consistency is achieved.
Soak the sub-base with water then apply a layer of slurry primer, 1 - 2 mm thick, using a brush or roller. You can then proceed with the layer of bedding mortar. The underside of the tiles must also be primed before being laid onto mortar.
Any priming slurry on the face of your tiles should be wiped clean immediately.
This 20kg sack will cover 15 m2 of tiles at 1 - 2 mm thickness.

Most orders are dispatched on a wooden pallet and delivered by Pall-Ex. Deliveries are kerbside only and drivers are unable to carry pallets into your property.
Remote & Island Postcodes
A small number of remote and island postcodes - including the Scottish Highlands and Channel Islands - carry an additional delivery charge and a longer delivery time. You'll always see this clearly at checkout before you pay.

Small orders under 18kg are sent by DPD and deliered to your door, rather than on a pallet.

Returns
We’re confident you’ll love your new purchases – but if things don’t work out, our 100-day returns policy gives you plenty of time to change your mind.
You can return your full order for a refund anytime within 100 days of delivery, as long as everything is unused and in its original packaging.
Just so you know – we can only accept full returns. If your order includes tiles, we’re not able to take back part-orders or leftover boxes.
