Less is more? Not when it comes to our collection of Moroccan floor tiles. A celebration of vibrant Moorish design, they’re full of colour, life and pattern - just like the souks of Casablanca itself. Perfect for fun-loving floors, these tiles are the opposite of pared-back minimalism and they’re guaranteed to catch the eye.
Looking for something a little special? Then why not transform your floors into works of art with our lovely Moroccan tiles? Whether you love the sultry souk look or take inspiration from bustling bazaars, these tiles will give your home a truly exotic flavour. And they're really affordable too, so you can have that magazine look in your space, even if budgets are tight.
Our Moroccan tiles are designed to replicate the beauty of encaustic tiles. They’re made from porcelain or ceramic and their beautiful patterns are fired onto the surface at incredibly high temperatures. This makes them strong, durable and much harder-wearing than traditional Moroccan tiles, so they’re perfect for busy family homes.
Our Moroccan tiles can be laid on floors in any room at home, including bathrooms, kitchens, fireplaces and hallways.
Yes - our Moroccan tiles can be fitted to any wall or splashback at home, even in wet areas. And don’t be afraid to get creative - as these tiles are so vibrant, you don’t have to go all-out to get the wow effect. Sometimes, a little feature panel here or splashback there is all it takes to stir the soul. Furthermore, they don’t need to be sealed and will help you create a backsplash that doesn’t just look great, it’s really functional as well.
We also have a range of beautiful zellige wall tiles, which recreate the beauty of glazed clay tiles found throughout Morocco and North Africa.
With their vibrant patterns, Moroccan tiles are a great way to add colour to any outside space, including yards and gardens. They can be used to decorate floors, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens and even water features! We advise using a porcelain tile such as Casablanca Mix, as these are frost proof and won’t crack in cold weather or fade in direct sunlight. If you are installing tiles onto your patio, you will need to ensure they are fitted to a concrete slab that is fully cured.
Unlike original cement tiles, which are made in small batches by hand, our Moroccan tiles are extremely affordable. They’re a great way to add handmade style into your home, without breaking the bank. And best of all, there’s no waiting around for your tiles to be made as we can normally deliver to your home in two working days.
As our Moroccan tiles are made from ceramic and porcelain, they’re extremely hard-wearing and durable. This means they’re suitable for busy floors and some designs can even be laid in commercial areas such as shops and restaurants. Our porcelain Moroccan tiles are also extremely scratch- and stain- resistant, so they will retain their beauty for many years to come.
Traditional cement and zellige tiles must be fitted by an expert craftsman, as they’re extremely difficult to work with. There’s likely to be a large degree of variation in sizing and thickness, while cement tiles need to be soaked before they are fixed. However, our Moroccan tiles are much easier to fit and can be installed by your normal tiler or even by yourself - especially if you have some experience with DIY.
Not only are our Moroccan tiles easier to install than cement tiles, they’re also much easier to clean and care for. After installation, we recommend that the tiles are thoroughly cleaned using LTP Grout Stain Remover to remove off any residual grout or adhesive. For ongoing maintenance, use LTP Porcelain Floor Tile Cleaner to keep your new floor looking its best. Why not read our floor tile cleaning guide for further information?
