But they’re even more of a talking point when they’re our Artiste Azul Mix patchwork patterned tiles.
As the name suggests, these tiles have an artistic element to them which isn’t surprising, given that we source them from a small family firm in northern Italy that specialises in small production runs. So unlike most other decorative tiles which can appear rather flat, Artiste is full of depth and character - almost as if the tiles have been individually painted by hand.
Each tile measures 15 x 15 cm and contains one design; in total, there’s 15 designs which come randomly mixed. And because Artiste is produced from high-quality porcelain, the range is suitable for floors as well as walls. After all, a feature foundation is a great way to start any space, never mind a conversation!
